Not as grippy as expected

I went to a hot yoga studio for the first time and borrowed the mat the studio provided and I kept slipping. My friend who invited me had a WAYmat and loved it. It felt and looked like a towel. I thought “this beats having to buy a cover for a mat if I can just have all in one.” I ordered it and I am pleased with the absorption of the mat but disappointed with how it moves/folds during when transitioning from one position to another. I didn’t expect that for the price. Not sure if I would recommend it because I’ve seen other mats with a cover that have great absorption and does not move for less.
